Frequently asked questions

Where are my photographs stored?

On your device only. Revisita reads from your device's photo library when you ask it to, and stores the series and arrangements you create in the app's local storage. Nothing is uploaded to Revisita's servers — we don't have any.

Does Revisita work without internet?

Yes. The app is fully functional offline. The only network use is the Google Play / App Store's own update mechanism, which is handled by the operating system, not by us.

Will I lose my series if I uninstall the app?

Yes. Because Revisita does not use a cloud account, uninstalling removes the series you created. Your original photographs are untouched — they live in your device's photo library and are not affected.

Can I move my series to a new phone?

Series are stored locally on each device. If you transfer your phone's data to a new device using the standard Android or iOS transfer flow, your Revisita series will move with it. Direct cross-device sync inside Revisita is not currently offered.

How do I share a photo from Revisita?

Tap the share icon on any photograph and your device's standard share sheet appears. Pick the destination — Photos, Drive, Mail, Messages, or any other installed app. Revisita hands the file to the destination you choose; we don't see where it goes.

What permissions does Revisita ask for?

Only access to your photo library. We do not request location, camera (for capture), microphone, contacts, calendar, or any other system data. You can review and revoke the permission at any time in your device's Settings.

How do I unlock the paid features?

Tap the unlock prompt in the app. Payment is handled by Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple's App Store (iOS). The one-time purchase is tied to your Google account or Apple ID, so you can restore it on any device signed in with the same account.

I bought the unlock but it's not showing on my new device.

Open Revisita on the new device, go to settings, and tap Restore purchase. Make sure you're signed in to the same Google account / Apple ID you used originally. If it still doesn't work, write to us with your purchase date and the email associated with your store account, and we'll help.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store you bought from. For Google Play, see Google's refund policy. For Apple, see Apple's refund process.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstall the app to remove all Revisita-created data from your device. Since we do not run a server, there is nothing to delete on our side. For details, see our data deletion page.

I found a bug, or I have a feature suggestion
